If you’re looking for a Colorado Native real estate agent who combines experience, faith, and a truly deeply personal approach — you’re in the right place.
My name is Tammy Hein, and I’m the Broker-Owner of Homes for Colorado, proudly serving the Denver Metro area, Front Range, Aurora, Littleton, Centennial, Parker, Bennett, and surrounding Colorado communities.
But my story — and how I serve my clients — didn’t begin with real estate.

Trusted Colorado Realtor with nearly 30 years of experience helping buyers and sellers navigate major financial and life decisions across the Denver Metro and Front Range.
A life-changing medical crisis reshaped how I view life, service, and real estate. Faith, gratitude, and empathy guide how I serve clients today.
Real estate is never just a transaction. My role is to guide people through important financial and emotional decisions with care, honesty, and long-term commitment.
In 2003, what began as a routine kidney stone procedure became a medical emergency. I became septic and spent 12 days in a medically induced coma. Doctors told my family,
One night at 2:00 a.m., I woke up unable to move my legs and collapsed in my husband’s arms. My young children watched, unsure if I would survive.
I did — and that experience forever changed how I view life, faith, and service.
Sepsis is a life-threatening infection that can lead to organ failure. Many don’t survive it.
After 12 days in a coma, I woke up and said,
Recovery took years — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. During that time, I stepped away from real estate and devoted myself to church volunteer work, children’s ministries, and food bank coordination.
That season taught me patience, empathy, and gratitude — qualities I bring into every real estate transaction today.

Before my health crisis, real estate was my career.
After it, real estate became my calling.
Real estate is never “just a transaction.” It’s about guiding people through one of the most important financial and emotional decisions of their lives — whether they are first-time home buyers in Colorado, long-time homeowners selling, relocating families, or investors navigating a changing market.
Many of my clients become lifelong friends. Helping people find their way home is at the heart of everything I do.

My first real estate clients were Jack and Bev. When I cold-called Jack, he said,
What followed was a three-year journey to sell their land.
During that time, Bev passed away. Losing her felt like losing family. Jack later gifted me Bev’s antique hutch from the early 1900s — a piece that still sits in my home today.
It reminds me daily:
My job isn’t houses. My job is relationships.
